Shikoku Electric Power generates electricity using an optimal balance of thermal, hydraulic, and nuclear power based on the characteristics of each power source. This allows us to supply stable and moderately-priced electricity to meet the local power demand that is increasing year by year. Thermal power generation in particular, has the important characteristic of allowing a flexible response to fluctuations in power demand. Due to this feature, our thermal power stations play an important role in maintaining a stable power supply, including compensating for the daily and seasonal fluctuations in power demand.
