1.Steam Power Generation

When fuels such as petroleum and coal are delivered to a power station, they are temporarily stored inside fuel tanks or silos.
Then they are sent by pumps or belt conveyors to the boilers, where they are burned at high temperature to heat water to produce high-temperature, high-pressure steam. This steam is subsequently transferred to the turbine, causing the device to rotate at high speed. The rotation of the turbine in turn rotates the generator to produce electricity.
Dissipated steam from the turbine chamber is then cooled inside a steam condenser using sea water. When it regains its liquid state, it is recycled to the boiler.

2.Combined Cycle Power Generation

Combined Cycle Power Generation is a method of generating electric power that combines gas turbine power generation with steam turbine power generation. In this method, after the natural gas is burnt and electricity is generated with a gas turbine, high temperature exhaust gas is used to make steam to generate additional electricity via a steam turbine. This results in improved overall efficiency in electricity generation.
