ABOUT YONDEN International Business

VISION

Shikoku Electric Power (Yonden) is committed to pursuing initiatives toward the creation and development of future growth engines, with the aim of expanding revenue in businesses outside the electric power business. The end vision of these initiatives is to achieve sustainable growth into the future, amid turbulent changes in the business landscape.

As part of this vision, Yonden is expanding its activity sites to countries around the world together with a variety of business partners. Through technical consulting and international cooperation leading to overseas investments, particularly in overseas power generation projects, Yonden’s objective is to further enlarge revenue from its international business, where growth is expected.

Yonden is also actively engaged in renewable energy — solar, hydro, and wind power — as it takes on the unending challenge of generating the new added value customers and society demand.

Through such international projects, Yonden contributes to global infrastructure development and environmental conservation.

TARGET

Yonden’s international business target is to reach an annual profit level of 4 billion yen in FY 2025 (8 billion yen in FY 2030).

Aside from the power generation business, Yonden is looking to enlarge business operations in energy and infrastructure-related fields, such as the power transmission business and the LNG terminal business, where the company’s expertise can be applied.

International business profit target for FY 2025: 4 billion yen / year, for FY 2030: 8 billion yen / year
